Data management & biostatistics
Our data management and biostatistics team is located in Beaune (Bourgogne, France). The main goal of these engineers is ensuring efficient investigational designs and certifying consistency of results by controlling and reducing some types of bias. And then, analysing and presenting the results obtained to the study sponsor.
They work in close partnership with the study sponsor and our investigators during the three phases of clinical trials:
Preparation of the protocol
- Calculating the sample size with the goal of reducing the probability of false-negative results in the clinical trial by adjusting type I and type II risks assumed, the minimum clinically significant differences expected, and the response variability.
- Designing the Clinical Recording Forms with investigators for a high quality of data collection.
Development of the research
- Creation of the databases.
- Ensuring that the information is free of errors.
Analysis, documentation, and presentation of results
- Crosscheck data and validate databases.
- Describe the data.
- Carry out statistical comparisons between groups (control or treatment).
- Write and present the study report with the investigators to the study sponsor.
