Farrowings’ supervision guided by FarroWin® reduces stillbirth

During the ESPHM Congress in Florence, Italy, Charlotte presented the results of a field evaluation of FarroWin® conducted on three farms, representing 1,100 farrowings. FarroWin® successfully identified sows at risk of stillbirth (estimated risk of stillborn>8%). Thus Farrowin enabled targeted and reinforced farrowing supervision on these sows. Overall, the stillbirth rate was significantly reduced from 11.1% to 9.3% on average in high-risk sows (p = 0.044).
